It’s a bit old, kind of, but nonetheless, it’s a game with vast amounts of potential that you definitely need to check out. After all, it’s about an assassin that is brought back to life by a goddess and given the powers to control the shadows. Path of Shadows starts off rather well with a short cinematic that introduces you to the environment, the overall mood of the game and to the main character who looks like a total badass. The game prototype doesn’t offer any kind of information about who you were and who you are now, you just know that you’ve been given a second chance and that you can’t mess it up again. From a graphics point of view, Path of Shadows looks great and performs almost flawlessly. It’s built using a custom engine that was put together by the team behind it and at times, be prepared for some serious fps drops. They don’t occur all that often but since this is a mockup of a concept, you can expect some hiccups now and again. The good news being that this is the only major issue about it.
