For example, your base SynB cannot walk through areas flooded with red water but, the red SynB can do that for you as soon as you unlock him. Other situations will require the usage of various weapons to fight the mutants that roam free through various sectors. To quickly dispose of them you will have to use the skills of another SynB that comes properly equipped for this type of situations.
