One thing that is a bit off is that because of the silence, and in conjunction with how the game mechanics work, you don’t feel as if the protagonist is a boy. There is no way of relating to him, which tends to lower the potential of the entire experience. Nonetheless, the story and the places you get to see make up for that, but not by much.
