It runs smooth, it’s dynamic, and as you descend further into the dungeons, it gets better. At a first glance, Dragonpath seemed a bit rough around the edges when looking at some of the graphics and HUD design. However, that fades into the background once you start playing and see that the key aspects of the game are rock solid and quite smooth actually. Typical to roguelikes, you will move from one chamber to another, finding enemies to fight until you reach the big boss that guards the entrance to the next level. As far as difficulty goes, Dragonpath is lightweight at first. The battles seem to be a bit one sided because a few swings of your weapon get the job done and damage to you is minimal. Fortunately, after the first boss, that changes and the moments in which you have to dodge enemy attacks and find the perfect times to counter attack will be crucial and more often.
