It would be considerably more difficult to build an infrastructure if giant creatures would waltz around the world wrecking everything without even feeling a thing. That may sound outlandish and quite impossible, but it’s the everyday life of an ant. GiAnt is a first-person action-adventure game in which you get to witness first hand just how much of a struggle it is to stay alive when everything is a few hundred times larger than you. The game is not yet finished, so it lacks many features and components, but it’s definitely something to keep an eye on in the future, because it’s already pretty exciting. The story puts you in the role of an ant by the name of Adam, whose task in the colony is to gather sweets. Unfortunately, this a pretty demanding task, because humans are not very keen on throwing away sweets. Granted, ants do not need an entire bowl of ice cream to achieve their purpose, so you can get away with far less. Furthermore, you also have a natural sense that guides you toward food, which is translated into an in-game radar that also warns you of nearby enemies.
