The main character’s name is Tohm Shlcszark, and he is chosen by the aliens to save the planet, thanks to his unique ability to control things with his mind. Most of the world is in shambles at this point, on the other hand, and it’s also mostly populated by all sorts of nasty creatures. There are a few people left as well, although most of them have gone insane over the years.
