Dynasty Warriors 6 is a third-person action game with RPG elements that allows you to take part in these battles and put down as many enemies as possible, all while unleashing powerful combos and special abilities. Naturally, realism does not enter the equation, since most of these combos involve super-human strength, magic powers and various other gimmicks that should technically explain what takes place on the screen. To accentuate on the battles and the combo diversity, the game features an overwhelming 41 playable characters, around twenty of which have their own background stories and a role in the actual campaign, while the others are just available in other game modes. However, the action can still become a bit repetitive, since it takes a while until you unlock each character's powerful abilities.
