Papyrus Warfare is a 2D survival shooter in which your primary purpose is to stay alive through what appears to be a monster invasion of the Earth. Complexity is not part of the equation and neither is realism, which means that you are left with a very repetitive and childish game, which would be fine if guns and gore weren't included in the package as well. You never really find out too much about the story, mainly because there really isn’t one in the true sense of the word. However, someone thought it would be a good idea to include an unskippable intro scene, complete with credits and a badly drawn perspective of a city in flames. No one ever profited from including unskippable cutscenes, so maybe it wasn’t the brightest ideas to add one.
