In appearance, it’s a pixel graphics platformer that aims to recreate the look and feel of old’school games but in essence, it’s a totally hectic adventure that constantly takes you by surprise due to its creative difficulty. Mibibli's Quest won’t throw you into a dungeon to rescue a damsel in distress but it will put you in some pretty strange worlds that you need to traverse for some unknown reason. The only thing that’s actually normal about this game are the controls which are those shared with all so many other platformers. This allows you to quickly get acquainted with how the character can move and how agile he is. However, this doesn’t mean that you’ll be fully prepared for what’s coming your way. There are enemies to shoot at using purple ninja stars, robots that want to frame you (and literally will), traps to avoid and more traps to avoid.
