The sound effects are dev recorded (that has to be his voice) and although it might feel strange, it’s actually part of the ‘I don’t care if you like it, it’s funny!’ approach. It’s a bit of personal touch to which you do get used to. Goo Goo is a game that you shouldn't take too seriously because even it doesn’t do so, just enjoy the colors and the increasingly tough levels.
