Where there’s voice acting it’s done right, the animations are good, and each room, garden, and dungeon looks great. It’s too bad that this game doesn’t follow the standard gameplay. Its looks are most of what get your attention and maybe the story, but that unravels at a very slow pace. That’s because in Midnight Castle, most of the time you’ll just be spotting objects from a pile, over and over again.
