The stealth field runs on fission batteries. Both pieces of the Stealth Power Armor, as well as ten fission batteries to get you started, can be found in the council room of the Citadel A-Ring, in a footlocker. The stealth field on the suit requires one fission battery every five minutes, and will remove one extra to get it started the first time you activate it. The stealth field will deactivate when you run out of fission batteries, leave sneak mode, or draw a weapon.
