It’s a 2D platformer that infuses into its gameplay the classic mechanics as well as some from the RPG and roguelike genres. At a first glance, PLPA might not seem like much. It features the kind of graphics you can see in a lot of 2D indie games; the animations aren’t all that fantastic and as a whole, it feels a bit too indie. However, this is the kind of game that grows on you; it becomes fun as you play it. The game is about a brave young man who sets off to free and rescue a king who was kidnapped by a dragon. To make things a bit worse, that happened just as he is sentenced to death by the king himself for having the guts to ask for the princess's hand in marriage. And so, our little hero wanders into the unknown to defeat the dragon.
