You have to explore a vast dungeon, chamber by chamber, and challenge every beast that you encounter, that is, if it is stronger than you or if you want to grab some XP and maybe some loot. The goal of the game is to become the most powerful dweller of that dungeon and you won’t know which one it is until you search the entire thing. At first you get to fight a lot of rats and bats, but after a while more interesting foes emerge and the game really becomes challenging.
