Although StarCraft II is still going strong, the RTS market is pretty poor, especially if you compare it to what it was back in the day. Win That War! is a real-time strategy game with a sci-fi theme and a whole bag full of new and interesting ideas, although it also tries to keep some of the classic elements alive at the same time. Hence, old RTS fans should be somewhat familiar with the interface and the core gameplay at first, yet still pleasantly surprised by the new features that enrich the experience and give you a reason to keep playing. Probably the most important feature is the fact that the maps and the planets you travel to are procedurally generated on the spot, which means that you won’t have to worry about the whole thing becoming repetitive after a few matches. There are some pre-built maps as well, bust most of the game is designed to be as open and unpredictable as possible, both of which are awesome qualities in an RTS.
