Lugaru HD is a good example of originality and creativity, although it can also be a good example of weirdness. Despite the rather innocent and even cuddly appearance of the characters on the screen, the story and the action unfolding in front of your eyes is very brutal and graphic, not to mention disturbing at times. However, the gameplay truly is the centerpiece of the game, since it all revolves around the addictive and unique combat mechanics you get to use throughout the campaign. The story talks about an anthropomorphic rabbit by the name of Turner with incredible fighting skills, whose family and entire village gets massacred by another group of bunnies. Naturally, Turner seeks revenge and spills the blood of the guilty parties, although while doing so, he finds out that the greater villains are the wolves, who aim to enslave the bunnies and pit them against each other. While it may not make too much sense overall, the plot is pretty nice and it certainly gets points for being centered entirely around vicious bunnies.
