Naturally, they turn out to be helpful and they join the war on Earth's side, while trying to exterminate the invaders. The three races that are part of the conflict are Hierarchy, the ones who plan to mine the planet dry and move on forward, Novus, which only want to destroy Hierarchy, and Masari, the ancient aliens that resided on Earth for thousands of years. Humans are also playable from time to time, but they are very weak compared to the other races and they barely make a difference on the battlefield.
