DemonStar v3.22
is an arcade-style vertical shooter in which you are a test pilot flying the RaptorX prototype.You can choose from an arsenal of bombs and missiles to destroy the enemy. Crystal and energy shields can be used to protect your ship. You can collect bonuses and three different colored powerups, including proton laser, ion cannon, and plasma cannon.
Plug in a couple of Microsoft Gamepads and play just like in the arcade, with two players on the screen at a time.
DemonStar was developed by the creators of the original hit "Raptor". The music and sound effects were created by Bobby Prince, the musician behind Duke Nukem 3D and Doom.
DemonStar also features network play over the Internet or a local network (it works with the Microsoft Gaming Zone and IGames, and plays though ICQ), and Force Feedback joystick support.
