Blood II: The Chosen
is the terrifying sequel to the 3D action game "Blood".The year is 2028. It's been nearly 100 years since The Chosen One, known as Caleb, last did battle with--and defeated--the Dark God. The century since his victory has been anything but pleasant and as Blood II opens, we find him walking the streets of an industrial wasteland. To the Cabal, he is the Great Betrayer, the power over which he fought the Dark God is still at arm's length. In a flash of dark epiphany, he realizes what must be done: he will resurrect the other three Chosen (Ophelia, Gabriella, and Ishmael) and use their combined power to wrest control from the Cabal. To his bitter surprise, he'll soon discover that the Cabal is the smallest obstacle between him and ultimate power.
In the game you can take control of any one of "The Chosen" -- four extraordinary characters who inhabit a dark near-future world reminiscent of Blade Runner and The Crow. You can become Caleb, the vicious protagonist from the original Blood, his cold-blooded love Ophelia, the ruthless Ishmael, or the unrelenting warrior Gabriela.
With over 30 weapons, Blood II lets you kill and be killed in more ways than any other 3D action game. It also has over 20 all new enemies to fight, as well as one returning fiend from the first game.
Every level has a goal and a purpose that the player must understand to defeat the game. You’ll follow a complex story line that fills the world with purpose without detracting from the action, and ties in closely with the original game.
