Obviously this is not a game that was designed to simulate actual soccer gameplay so don’t expect anything remotely real from it. Controls are easy to learn because you only have the four directional keys and nothing else. What’s a bit of a bother or fun (depending on which side you stand) is the fact that controlling the player is rather tough. It’s mostly like trying to play soccer on figure skating ring. To make things worse (or more fun), in Hobo Soccer players that hit the walls of the field ricochet quite hard, most of the times they will bounce more than the ball.
