The challenge itself doesn't seem all that great but after you fall off the platforms once or twice while having a high score, the side of you which wants to more takes over and that’s how you get addicted to Icy Tower. You start the game at the bottom level of the tower and using the Space key you perform simple jumps in the direction you point the little guy. The goal is to jump from one floating platform to the other in order to climb upwards because the higher you get, the more points you earn. At first it’s kind of simple and silly just jumping around but what ever comes next in your climb is randomly generated so it’s impossible to predict where you have to jump next. Moreover, since jumping from one platform to another is no real challenge, the bottom of the screen starts chasing you and if it catches up, you lose.
