There are five levels to complete and each one unlocks a new car to drive. Highway Racer displays rudimentary polygonal graphics that won’t really stand out in terms of quality. Visually, the game is not all that bad, sure it’s barely acceptable, but it won’t hurt your eyesight when you play it. Controls come down to the use of the Left and Right arrow keys to steer and Spacebar to toggle slow motion. The latter slows things down considerably and allows you to avoid crashing when reflexes fail you.
