Rollcage Stage II Description:
features cool, drive-anywhere, flip-over cars that race at extreme speeds. Rollcage Stage II improves upon the unique driving experience offered by its predecessor, Rollcage. Like any sequel, there is more of everything - more cars, more tracks and more game modes. But, it's not just a case of more is better, Rollcage Stage II has gone to great lengths to make the game more fun, easier to pick up, and more rewarding.
Rollcage Stage II has five fictitious car manufacturers offering a total of 20 new cars to drive. You get a different set of paint jobs dependent on which difficulty you try in the league game. Some cool paint jobs can only be acquired by finding special keys in the league tracks. There's a special key hidden on every track.
For Rollcage Stage II, weapons have been taken up another graphical step. Some of the weapons have been dropped from the original, some have been kept (with new effects), and some have been added. In total, there are 12 weapons in Rollcage Stage II, compared to 8 in the original game. A major feature of Rollcage Stage II is that each weapon has a powering capability. If the player collects 2 weapons of the same type, the 2 weapon icons will merge and give the player a super version of that weapon. Conveniently, this frees up a weapon slot for the player to collect another weapon.
Rollcage Stage II has five leagues; each one consists of the simple league points system. Win a race and get 10 points (and also a continue). If you win the league on points after the first three races then you get to have a go at the knockout stage. This is your gateway to opening the next league. In the knockout race, you must make sure that you are never the last car over the line, else you are knocked out. Win the knockout race and the next league is opened. Your continues are cumulative, so the better you get at winning races the easier it is to progress through the leagues.
