PetWings - An arcade shooter with a cartoonish design that seems very easy to play bit is in fact rather challenging

PetWings is an indie arcade-style shooter with a unique and somewhat strange look. What it is, simplified, is a Space Invaders-like game in which the protagonist is a fox of sorts that can shoot blue fireballs. PetWings plays like Space Invaders, but the enemies feel like they were inspired from Pokemon. There’s one enemy in particular that looks a lot like Beedrill. Maybe they are Pokemon, and I’m just not seeing it. Either way, the game is a blend of the two. As you start shooting the waves of critters, they start moving toward you but one at a time and in an aggressive manner. Apart from looking out to avoid smashing into the advancing enemies, you also have to make sure you don’t get hit by their attacks. Each enemy possesses a unique one, and when they all come together, things get a bit chaotic.
